Robert Sun, Chairman

Robert Sun is the founder and president, and CEO of the American-Chinese CEO Society. He is a former Chinese diplomat, current business owner, philanthropist and investor who combines impressive diplomatic, executive, and management achievements in the US and China government relations, CEO-level joint business ventures in medical device and real estate.

Robert is on the board of the University of California, Riverside School of Business Administration Dean’s Advisory Council and a board member at California Community Foundation. Robert also serves as an an adviser at the UCLA center for world health. He has been appointed as an official economic adviser to the mayor of Weihai City, Yingkou City and Dalian free trade zone in China. He is also an advisor to the All China Federation of Commerce and Industries in Zhejiang Province China.

In 2006, Robert was invited by the White House to the US President’s welcome ceremony for the visiting president of China, Hu Jingtao and his official delegation at the White House. In 2015, Robert was invited by the Chinese government to meet Chinese president Xi Jinping with his official delegation during the Seattle portion of his state visit to the United States and also attended the US-china business round-table with top 15 US CEOs and top 15 Chinese CEOs which was co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Paulson Institute.

Robert holds a BA degree from Zhejiang University in China and an MBA from University of California, Riverside.

Ralph Liu, President

Ralph started his career on Wall Street after he obtained an MBA degree in finance from the Wharton Business School. 

He had since led very successful professional careers in derivatives trading, investment banking and institutional investment with major banks and financial institutions such as Morgan Stanley, Chemical Bank, Equitable Life in New York City as well as UBS and Chase Manhattan Bank in Singapore and Hong Kong. 

His last corporate role was the board level Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer with China Everbright Bank in Beijing. His responsibilities included overseeing Treasury, Capital Markets, Risk Management, Asset/Liability Management and Investment Banking. While working at the bank, Ralph championed and introduced the first ever inter-bank RMB denominated interest rate swap with the counter-party China Development Bank. Hence China Everbright Bank became the first commercial bank in China to introduce the fixed rate mortgages to all the Chinese homeowners back in 2006. 

Currently, as a seasoned investment banker, Ralph together with his team focuses on conducting cross border M&A and capital raise for Asian companies in the US as well as other global financial markets. 

He also owns a few other related businesses that include a well-known real estate brokerage business that focuses on luxury pleasure related commercial properties such as wineries, golf courses and hotel resorts as well as a yacht, jet charter and sales business that are very popular to the newly rich UHNW clients from China in recent years. Ralph is also an avid fine art dealer and collector. 

Ralph is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Newport Beach based Sky Dragon Club. The social and cultural club's mission is to connect the recently affluent businessmen from the East with the best of the cultural heritage and family entertainment from the established West.
